Analysis and Findings

The researcher conducted a survey entitled 32 bit or 64: A comparison in Gaming Performance. It is conducted on various computer shops in Quezon City Area specifically in the Brgy. Commonwealth which the researcher believed that is the best spot to conduct this survey because computer shop businesses in this area are very much focused on the gaming parts of their computer. The shop owners are very meticulous in choosing their parts and systems to assure the quality gaming experience of the users/renters. The researcher also gave out surveys to random computer gamers that will determine the gaming experience during their usage of the two systems. Here are the following results based on the conducted survey to 100 respondents along with the questions pertaining to it: 1. Which is your most used computer system in your PC/Computer Shop? (For 32 bit, please answer questions 3 and 5 as for 64 bit, please answer questions 4 and 6) 32 bit computer system: 83 respondents (83%) 64 bit computer system: 17 respondents (17%) 2. How many hours do you usually spend on gaming? Less than an hour: 2 respondents (2%) 1-2 hours: 28 respondents (28%) 2-3 hours: 64 respondents (64%) 3 hours and above: 6 respondents (6%) 3. While using a 32 bit system, how can you observe the temperature of the machine after using it? (NOTE: For 32 bit users only. If you are a 64 bit user, please skip this question and proceed to question number 4 immediately) Very hot: 3 respondents (4%)

While using a 64 bit system, how can you observe the temperature of the machine after using it? (NOTE: For 64 bit users only.) What is the most common issue/problem during your gaming usage on a 32 bit computer system? (NOTE: For 32 bit users only. If you are a 64 bit user, please skip this question and proceed to question number 6 immediately) Lag issues: 36 respondents (43%) Slow gaming process (Opening/Closing): 22 respondents (27%) Poor graphics during gameplay: 13 respondents (16%) Game compatibility issues: 2 respondents (2%) Deadlocks (Hang) during gameplay: 10 respondents (12%)
