Statistician Class II Grade II in the Ceylon Electricity Board

Qualifications & Experience : Degree in Statistics AND 03 years post qualifying experience, in the relevant field. Age Limit : Applicants should not be more than 35 years of age at the closing date of applications. (This age limit will not apply to the employees of the CEB). Salary Scale : Rs.64,560 5x1,150 10x1,165 81,960/- p.m. (K4) Other Benefits : CEB Provident Fund, Employees Trust Fund, CEB Medical Assistance Scheme, CEB Loan Scheme, CEB Pension (subject to the CEB pension rules), Retirement Gratuity and other fringe benefits. Method of Recruitment :
By a written Competitive Examination and an interview.

Forwarding Applications : Applications giving full details of educational/professional qualifications, experience, present and previous employments (if any) and the age on the application closing date, supported by copies of certificates including a copy of the Birth Certificate should be sent to the Deputy General Manager (Personnel), Ceylon Electricity Board, Sir Chittampalam A. Gardiner Mawatha, Colombo 02, to reach him on or before March 08, 2013 by hand or by Registered Post. The envelope should be marked Post of Statistician Class II Grade II on the top left hand corner. Applications which do not reach on or before this date (irrespective of the date of posting) will not be considered.

Candidates in State Service/Statutory Board and/or Corporations should forward their applications through Heads of relevant Institutions who should state whether the applicant can be released or not, if selected.
