Dear Resident:

This notice is to inform you that your home has been selected as a potential
test subject for the town of Eden’s Anti-Terrorism Task Force (ATTF). Due to a recent
uprising of terrorist activity in the area, the Town Board’s Disaster Preparedness
Committee has passed a series of measures to establish a squad of highly-trained
individuals that have been meticulously selected from the NYS SWAT team.

As a result, your home is now subject to the following:

(1) random, unannounced police searches;

(2) wiretapping of phone and/or internet lines;

(3) installation of hidden surveillance cameras on or around your property.

Numerous citizens have voiced concern over this issue during town meetings,
claiming that it is a blatant invasion of privacy. However, we would like to assure
you that these tests are only being used to maintain a safe, healthy community and
will never be used for malicious purposes. Please remember that this will only be a
trial run of the aforementioned security measures. Their usage will not be expanded
to the entire populous until the previous ones are deemed acceptable and fault-
proof.

In closing, we would like to ask that you cooperate with members of the ATTF
at all times. Obstructing their actions in any way would not only quality as a Federal
offense, it would hinder the safety and well-being of our entire community.
