Type Town Expansion Description New Housing with Landscape / Footpaths Status Promoted at MIR stage

Iglu prepared a vision for Dunblanes growth and design options for two sites on the western edge of the town. The vision and design options were presented at a community consultation event where they were displayed on banners to both inform and allow local residents to make comment on proposals. The two sites, promoted as sustainable locations for new development, are in close proximity to public transport, local schools and Dunblanes town centre. The design options responded to the sensitivity of the two sites with regards to topography, short and long distance view of sites, impact on neighbouring residential amenity and the existing footpath networks in the area.
