Hey guys i'm opening this thread as it would help our devs&users in India who are havin slower

modems and they need good internet speeds. I'm getting 3G speeds (from 2.5mbps to 5.5 mbps ) in airtel 2G. Just u need is an airtel sim and android phone. 1. Put an 2G internet pack on ur airtel mobile(any stating from Rs.5 to Rs.185) 2. Activat 3G (text:- 3G to 121) and dont activate any 3G pack. 3. Download three apps from play store * 3G connections fix by lrm4android (for resetting). *(root only)3G/4G speed optimizer by provision team (for teaking). * Speedtest.net (to know current internet speed) 4. Put network in Automode/GSMandWCDMA.( after the 3G activated your network symbol changes from E to H.) 5. when u get all the above steps done, checkout your speed in speedtest.net app. If it is about 10 to 100 kbps then press fix now button in 3G connections fix app.then checkout your speed again. it should be 500 kbps to 5000 kbps. if not try rebooting and again doing the step 5 , two or three times. 6. And finally use 3G/4G speed optimizer for tweaking as to increase download speed or upload speed as per your requirements and reboot. Now enjoy blazing speeds on ur airtel 2G (i.e. 3G internet with the cost of 2G). this might work on other networks too.. but i'm not sure about it.
