IRP (Independent Research Project): As required, each student will prepare and present an IRP, worth 10% of your final mark. The student will be evaluated based on the timeliness, completeness, thoroughness and comprehension of the project. Late Assignments: Any assignment submitted late will have a mark of 2% per day deducted from the mark. After 5 days, the assignment will not be accepted and a mark of zero will be assigned. Once an assignment has been marked and handed back to the class, it may not be submitted for marking. Plagiarism: Westlanes policy for plagiarism as stated in the student hand book will be followed. This includes students submitting the same assignment either copied or with a different name. An automatic mark of zero will be assigned and no alternative assignment will be given.
