Installation of Planning 9.3.0.

Select Location of installation

Select I AGREE

By default location for Hyperion Home Directory

By Default Location for Planning Folder

Select As per your requirement

Make Necessary selections

Now to run Configure utility, Go to Start->programs->Hyperion System 9 Foundation-> Configuration Utility

Select Active Product

Mention Server Name

Select Register with Shared Services

Mention User Name and Password

Select Deploy to Application Server

Select this if want to deploy Planning server as a service

Select Configure Database

Mention Server Name

Mention Database Name for Planning

Mention Username and password of database

Creating Application in Planning 9.3.0.1

I) Creating Planning Instance

Select Product Instance Registration

Mention Instance name

Mention Server Name

Select Active Instance

II) Configuring Planning Application

Select Data source configuration

Select Instance Name which is created in step I

Mention Server Name

Mention Database name which is created for application Mention Username and password for database

Mention Server Name, User Name and Password

III) Creating Planning Application in workspace Optional:

In Planning, by default, application saved in unassigned project. To save project in user defined folder you can create new folder in shared services interop. Web Link for Interop: http://tcmupc079(server name):58080/interop In this, right click projects and name the new folder as per user requirement.

For Application Creation in planning 9.3.0.1, go to Workspace Web Link for workspace: http://tcmupc079(server name):19000/workspace/index.jsp

Mention Username and Password and then click on log on

Now go to, Navigate-> Administer-> Classic Application Administration-> Planning Administration

Click on Create Application to create new application

Make necessary selections & click on NEXT
