Phase 1: Engage, review prior knowledge Switch on thinking and prior knowledge by asking four students at a time to write one word in each column on the pre-drawn tables on the whiteboard to describe what they think or know is meant by the terms hunter-gatherer & settled society Phase 2: Develop skills & knowledge Explain objective Students will take notes while watching a YouTube clip titled Hunter Gathering Societies Students will assess whether their prior knowledge is correct & add or make adjustments to the table where necessary Allow students to access the class Blog so that they can begin researching & answering the questions Phase 3: Conclusion Sum up what happened in todays lesson Assess what students have learnt
