Technical and Professional Communication at East Carolina Univesity prepares students for a variety of careers in technical and professional communication, as well as other fields that require communication skills
Develop the skills to work as a communicator in industry, academia, and the public sector

The certificate and MA are both available entirely online Campus and online students can earn up to 6 s.h. towards their degree with an appropriate internship Those currently working in the field have the opportunity to earn credit by applying research to their experience

ECU offers several ways to earn an education in TPC Certificate in Professional Communication (PostBaccalaurette): A minimum of 18 hours beyond the bachelor's degree (also available online!) MA in English- Technical and Professional Communication: A minimum of 33 hours beyond the bachelor's degree (also available online!) PhD in Technical and Professional Discourse: A minimum of 60 hours beyond the master's degree
