Dear Parents, It was fun to see all of our first grade families having a wonderful time at the Lions Fest Friday. Thanks for your booth donations and time spent running our booth for all the kiddos to enjoy! For the month of October, the local food back would appreciate donations of soup cans. I cant wait to see what our firsties can do for the month of October! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Spina Bifida Awareness Month. Our school is showing support by wearing pink and/or yellow every Wednesday in the month of October! This week: Language Arts: -questions -short u, final blends -main idea -fact/opinion Math: -workshops continue -math journals -Math strategies Social Studies/Science: -Fire Safety Leadership: -Sensitivity Once again, thank you so much for all you do and are willing to do for us in and out of the classroom.
