Minimum specification of AC drive: 1) speed control 2) Soft Start 3) Remote ON/OFF 4) Forward /reverse command by using frequency set 5) Ramp up and ramp down acceleration. To find out the competitor To make the complete analysis of market growth Make the analysis for investment to be made for test set up. To generate the skill requirement. Product development: To list down the component to be made. To analyze the components list for local and import breakup. To find out the source for control board. To develop the local source for programming of controller. To make budgetary cost analysis.

Risk Assessment: The control board and its related software are not developed in India till the date. Each of the drive manufacturers in India are importing the complete drive from parent company and sell in India. The Present manufacturers in India are doing only sell and service of the AC drive. Since the control board software needs to import from related source. Present market status: In Gujarat M/S Amtech is manufacturing the AC drive but only for higher rating i.e above 40HP. They dont have software solution.
