Pray Every Day

October 20- October 26, 2013

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source.

Father God, I am so glad that I can talk to You. Help my family and friends to know your love this week. Thank you for teaching me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. Forgive me when I make wrong choices. Help me to tell others about Your great love! Thank you that because of Jesus, I am healed and whole. In Jesus Name, Amen

Young Samuel worked in the temple with Eli, the priest. One night, he heard a voice calling him two different times, Samuel, Samuel! Both times he ran to see what Eli wanted. Eli realized it must be God calling to Samuel. The third time Samuel heard the voice, he said Speak, Lord, I am listening. God told him important things to come because he listened. 1 Samuel 3:1-14
