Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Accountable for accurate and

d efficient execution of structural designing, engineering and construction activities for the companys Greenfield and Brownfield modification projects. Act as discipline lead during detailed design of Wellhead Platform (WHP) and Brownfield scopes of work and mentor new hire structural engineers in the performance of these 2 work scopes. Manage discipline interfaces between topsides and jacket/piles design, as welll as transportation and installation loads. Ensure rigorous weight management controls are in place, mitigate and prepare contingency plans for weight growth during detailed engineering, and liase with EPCI contractor and Installation sub-contractor regarding heavy lift designs and plans. Frequent Offshore visit. Review and comment on vendor information and take part in inspection and testing. Ensure compliance of the design and procurement activities to all relevant statutory regulations, codes and standards Ensure that the work scope is fully defined and in accordance with the clients requirements Ensure recognition of changes to scope of work and preparation of Change Requests as appropriate Identify any offshore/onshore survey requirements Review documents and drawings produced by the group and ensure that single and inter-discipline checks are carried out in accordance with company/project procedures and PEM Assist procurement and project engineering personnel in the procurement of equipment and materials Approve discipline documents including basis of design reports Keep up to date with professional and industry developments Responsible for the development and progress of their discipline/function Responsible for the preparation of documents, deliverables and calculations including input to work packs for construction and commissioning Carry out manual/computer analysis and weight estimates as appropriate Carry out onshore or offshore site surveys, as required, during the initial work scope definition or the development of the design
