1. Orientation a. Teacher told a story titled The Girl Who Married The Moon with the aid of slideshow.

2. Eliciting ideas a. Keywords and revise previous lessons 3. Reconstructing ideas. a. Moonsicles i. Each student is provided with a Styrofoam ball and a stick. ii. Students poke their ball with the stick iii. Teacher explain that the Styrofoam ball is a moon that rotates on its axis. iv. Student will form a circle around the flashlight (Sun) and rotate. v. Students are ask to observe the changing shape of the bright surface of the ball. vi. Students draw what they have observed during the simulation. vii. Teacher explains the phases of the moon using slideshow. 4. Application ideas a. MoonReo i. Each group is provided with a pack of oreos cookies, white mahjung paper, spoon, bowl and sticker. ii. They are required to use the oreos to form a cycle of moon phase by scrapping the cream using the spoon to form each phase of the moon. iii. The remain of the cookies are put into the bowl. iv. They are allowed to eat afterwards. v. Teacher acts as a facilitator to teach student to form the cycle.
