This term the students have been looking at different thinking strategies that will help them understand texts deeper. They were given the chance to choose a strategy they would most like to work on to be their reading goal. To help meet this goal they completed many different graphic organisers and attended workshops.

Throughout the term I have developed the following strategy: Asking question

This means that I can ask closed and opened so I get more information out of it

The graphic organiser demonstrates the depth of their understanding of the text passing though using their chosen strategy.
