Event Details: De La Salle University 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament 2013 The DLSU College of Law (COL) through the

Lasallian Committee on Bar Operations (LCBO) will hold the DLSU 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament 2013 on 7th floor of the Enrique Razon Sports Complex. It is a Universtiy-wide 3-on-3 Half-Court Basketball Tournament. We expect to have at least 40 participant teams composed of 5 members each. All of the proceeds of this project will benefit the LCBOs drive to provide our first batch of bar takers with the best environment and support in taking the bar in 2014. Date and Time: The Whole Day of July 6 and July 13 2013 The tournament will take place on 2 game days (first game day for the group stage round robin and the second game day for the single game knockout playoffs) which would be held on 2 Saturdays, July 13 and 20 2013, respectively. The 2 game days will be ongoing for the whole day, starting from 8:00am up to 5:00pm. Tournament Format The tournament format for the first day would follow a group round robin format composed of 10 groups with 4 teams each group and at most 5 players per team. The second day would follow a single game knockout playoff format, where the top 16 teams with the best winning quotient from the round robin elimination round will be seeded in brackets to play until a champion is declared. Each game has a race to 33 points format per game. A game will end once one team has scored 33 points. A maximum of 5 players would play on each team, with a maximum of 3 players per team on each game, totalling 6 players per half-court, or 24 players on both full courts at any given time of the tournament. In case of a tie in the group stage standing, FIBA tie breaker rules will apply. Each team is allowed to select their team captain and co-captain.
