Instructions for the Students Lab Test: Portfolio This is an individual project. Students are required to prepare a portfolio based on their academic background. For example, if you are an Economy and Muamalat student, you are required to prepare a portfolio that is based on Economy and Muamalat. You have to propose a topic and inform the lecturer before the due date. Students are required to present the project at the end of the semester. The portfolio must use at least these four applications: 1) Word 2) Excel 3) PowerPoint 4) Access Examples of a portfolio: 1) A demonstration a) Word b) Excel Prepare a numerical projection of the demonstration, for example; budget, statistics, chart, graph etc Prepare a document or a proposal regarding the demonstration, for example; report, brochure etc

c) PowerPoint Prepare a presentation for the demonstration

d) Access Prepare a database to organize demonstration, for example; a database for details of potential customers/users, etc

2) A talk/program/conference/seminar a) Word b) Excel Prepare a numerical projection of the talk/program/conference/seminar, for example; budget, timeline graph etc Prepare a document or a proposal regarding the talk/program/conference/seminar, for example; flyer, brochure etc

c) PowerPoint Prepare a presentation for the talk/program/conference/seminar

d) Access Prepare a database to organize the talk/program/conference/seminar, for example; a database for details of potential presenters/authors/affiliation/sponsors, etc
