RE: Withdrawal of Request for Ruling regarding Public Information Request from Craig
Johnson - Correspondence ID No. 323050

Dear Mr. Simpson:

On July 24, 2008, Texas A&M University submitted a request for an open records
decision regarding the public information request enclosed as Exhibit A. The request was
received July 10, 2008 from Mr. Craig Johnson.

At the time we sent our request for a ruling, the university and our office were in the
process of gathering and reviewing records responsive to Mr. Johnson's request. We have
iubsequently reviewed representative samples of the requested records and have determined that
the information subject of this particular request from Mr. Johnson is not subject to exception
from disclosure under the Texas Public Information Act.

Once the records have been processed, the university will provide them to the requestor.
