    Ribbon Cable Protection


    When changing a control board or ribbon cable, it is recommended to place a strip of self adhesive insulating tape between the ribbon cable and the back side of the control board. Place the self adhesive tape on any ribbon cable that could come into contact with the boards sharp pins. This protective tape will ensure that the pins on the control board do not damage the ribbon cable. Self adhesive insulating tape
