Whats it all about?


This workshop will explore fox behavior , effective controls, humane treatment, dens, monitoring cameras and trap styles + more. It will also include a hands on session for foot print and scat identification, setting a monitoring camera (in the right spot ) and preparing and setting traps + more. There will be a Q&A session, and an opportunity for one on one discussion with the presenter, Michael.

Sunday 27th October Workshop: 10.00am - 1.30pm Springbrook Community Hall 3-11 Carricks Road, Springbrook Presenter: Michael Dickinson
Michael has over 37 years experience in wildlife and feral animal management. He has worked with Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Fleays ,and over the past 16 years as a Wildlife / Feral Animal contractor for planning, spotting and catching with SEQ local councils and bio security QLD. Michael is president of the Wildlife Spotter Catcher Assoc QLD, and foundation member of the QLD trapper Assoc + more.

Who should attend?


This workshop is open to all landowners and any other interested community members who wish to know more about how to manage fox populations.

This is a free event and will include morning tea. The local Junior Landcare will be providing a sausage sizzle for lunch (small donation encouraged). Linda Durham
