Reading Students will continue working on non fiction texts with a focus on using the text features (headings, bold words, diagrams, captions, etc.) to help with their comprehension. Spelling Week Seven (Review of ambiguous vowels aw, -au, -al, -ou) paw, yawn, hawk, cause, taught, pause, also, calm, tall, cough, bought, fought Bonus: thaw, launch, halt, brought Writing Students will continue to practice writing their opinions with supporting reasons. Math Students will be reviewing concepts from Unit 1 in preparation for Unit 1 Test on Wednesday. Science We will continue to study fossils and assess on Friday Social Studies Review levels and branches of government. Levels: local, state, and national. Branches: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial.
