This site is free. 2. You need to register for an account and then can search for whatever it is you need as a teacher for all subjects and grade levels and download whatever you find. 3. Science NetLinks Systems of the Human Body http://sciencenetlinks.com/lessons/systems-of-the-human-body/ Science NetLinks is a project of the Directorate for Education and Human Resources Programs of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. It is in a lesson plan outline or format with links to a game and other resources. This seems to be a free site. 4. Brain Pop http://www.brainpop.com/health/bodysystems/ BrainPop is a great website with a ton of material, but you do need a license or log in to get to a lot of the good information. Some of the material is free without a paid log in though. Founded in 1999, BrainPOP creates animated, curricular content that engages students, supports educators, and bolsters achievement. Our award-winning online educational resources include

The Magic Schoolbus Episode 35 Works Out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2RiOIqx4BY This is a video on YouTube of The Magic School bus discussing the human body and how it works together to accomplish amazing things. This series is a classic from way back. I had to replace this link once already because the user took it down so it was no longer available using that link. This link is good now, but a good reminder that if you are using a video for class and possibly for years to come, you should download the video using software to your computer or buy the DVDs to have on hand just in case. 6. Some of the videos are Bill Nye the Science Guy, while others are more generic videos from different companies. Again not all the videos in the playlist work due to being out of date, but give you great options that other teachers have previously used. 7. Science Kids http://www.sciencekids.co.nz/humanbody.html Our human body for kids information includes an awesome range of free games, fun experiments, science fair projects, interesting facts, amazing videos, challenging quizzes and more! Learn about health and growth, the human skeleton and all kinds of interesting human body topics. As well as activities for children, there are also lesson plans and worksheets for teachers, ideas

for parents and a whole host of free resources for anyone interested in learning about the human body or other science subjects online. 8. Enchanted Learning Human Anatomy http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/anatomy/titlepage.shtml This page is has a lot of links with different materials covering the information about our body systems. It does not look like a great resource and to get to all of the features it may cost you a yearly subscription fee as an individual or as a school. EnchantedLearning.com is a user-supported site. As a bonus, site members have access to a banner-ad-free version of the site, with print-friendly pages. 9. Kid Info Facts about the Human Body and All Human Body Systems http://www.kidinfo.com/Health/Human_Body.html This site has links to many different other pages as a gateway resource and is free. TeacherVision Human Body Resources for Teachers (lesson plans, printables, and more) http://www.teachervision.fen.com/body-parts/teacher-resources/6632.html This is a website that has lesson plans, printables, and more that has a free trial, but then requires membership. You might be able to sign up for multiple free trials though Browse these human body printables, lessons, and references to find great cross-curricular teaching resources on the immune system, anatomy, and the five senses. Supplement units on health or biology with activities on the digestive, nervous, and circulatory systems. Students of all ages will enjoy learning about genetics through hands-on science experiments, such as DNA fingerprinting. You'll also find quizzes on the human body to test student's knowledge of the brain and skeletal system. 11. Pinterest Body Systems http://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=body%20systems This is a Pinterest search for body systems that gives you 1,000s of great ideas and resources for lesson plans and ideas for things to help your students learn. A great resource to find things people are using in their classroom and the site is free. 12. Teacher Planet http://www.teacherplanet.com/resource/body.php This website has some pop up advertising as well as ads on the side, but has some good content for free. There are lesson plans, worksheets, activities, clipart and other resources available.

13. Kids Biology.com http://www.kidsbiology.com/human_biology/ This website has an interesting interactive body systems application that helps students learn more about their bodies. This site is free. 14. Kids Health How the Body Works http://classroom.kidshealth.org/Search02.jsp This site has different lesson plans laid out for you for free about our body systems. One nice feature is that it shows what grade range each lesson is targeted at. The lessons include standards, related links, discussion questions, activities for students, and reproducible materials. 15. Body Systems Resources (compiled by Mrs. Barnard, 4th grade at Pioneer Elementary) http://www2.asd.wednet.edu/pioneer/barnard/sites/Science/bodsys/bodysys.htm This website has a great list of resources to use from Mrs. Barnards 4th grade classroom at Pioneer Elementary. The site has links to different websites by system or by website and is free. 16. Google Searches https://www.google.com/search?q=body+systems+worksheets&biw=1366&bih=599&tbm=isch&tbo=u &source=univ&sa=X&ei=Lc5UUremI4PhrAHa34DoAg&ved=0CCkQsAQ This website is just a good old Google search for body system worksheets. There are many different options to download and print for free. They do even have different categories listed at the top to help you narrow your search for what you want. 17. InnerBody http://www.innerbody.com/ This website is free and has a pretty cool interactive image with links to all the different body systems and more information. It is a little bit graphic for the younger grades as well as having detailed information when you click in the different body systems. Maybe not a great site for elementary use, but a great teacher resource to help learn about the systems we will be teaching. 18. Human Body Systems Cut Out Craft http://www.arvindguptatoys.com/toys/systems.html This is a free site with a few pictures and a printable cutout figure to color in the different body systems and fold up like an accordion. Probably many different ideas like this on Pinterest that you could use for different grade levels.

19. 5th Grade Human Body Systems https://sites.google.com/site/5thgradebodysystems/ This website looks like it is sponsored by Google and is free, but only contains information about 3 of our body systems. The teachers resource section contains a wealth of information on each system. Everything you need to know to conduct your day to day teaching of each unit. Links to each online activity as well as handouts can be found here as well. 20. Discovery Kids http://kids.discovery.com/tell-me/science/body-systems This is a free website that has some videos about our body systems that you can watch. There are also parts of the website with more information and activities for students to complete. 21. A Kids Guide to Life Sciences: The Human Body Systems http://www.accuterm.com/life-sciences.html This is a free website with links to other sites that is organized by body system, but seems to be financed by a health insurance company. There is some good information and resources nonetheless. 22. Body Systems Rock http://www.amazon.com/Body-Systems-Songs-HigherLearning/dp/B004O2WW4M/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1364342907&sr=811&keywords=body+systems+cd This is a link to an Amazon page for buying a cd called Body Systems Rock that helps students learn about their bodies by using rock and roll music with educational lyrics to get the message across and into their long term memory. It may work for some of your students or be something fun for the class to at least listen to sometime. The cd is $20, but you can sample and purchase each song for 99 cents. 23. National Geographic Human Body Video http://video.nationalgeographic.com/video/science/health-human-body-sci/human-body/human-bodysci/ This is a link to a basic video about our bodies and our body systems with some good footage from National Geographic. The video is free, but is only 3 minutes long. 24. PBS LearningMedia http://www.pbslearningmedia.org/search/?q=body+systems

This website seems to be free, and requires an account, but I am unsure if they charge anything later on. There is a lot of good information and links here, including some of the shows that are on PBS. 25. Life, Love, Literacy http://lifeloveliteracy.blogspot.com/2013/03/human-body-systems-ready-to-teach.html This is a free blog site that a teacher has created and has a body systems lesson that is also on Pinterest. Sometimes finding a teacher that has been teaching for a while with a blog or website can be a great shortcut or resources to use in your own classroom. 26. Super Teacher Worksheets http://www.superteacherworksheets.com/human-body.html This website requires a membership to view many of its articles and worksheets. I have not seen very many of them personally, but it seems to have a lot of resources available to use with your lessons about body systems. 27. Discovery Education Techbook http://www.discoveryeducation.com/search/page/-/-//body%20systems/index.cfm?campaign=deHeader_search This is from the Discovery channel network that has some really well produced videos, but some may be for older audiences. As far as I can tell you can access most information for free, but they do have a subscriber login at the top of the page.
