A School in Australia
Our school is called Scotch College, Adelaide. We have almost 900 students
and about 60 live in different parts of Australia. There is 1 teacher for every 14
students and we have both boys and girls as students.
We live in South Australia and it doesnt rain much here. The biggest city is
Adelaide, where we live. It has just over 1 million people.
All our students have their own computers. We are connected by radio. Each
of the students in the school can contact the teacher and the other students all the
time. It is very good.
The subjects we take at school are like the rest of Australia. We have
English, Mathematics, Physical Education, Religious Education, Technology, Art and
Science. We can also choose other subjects: Music, Agriculture, Drama and
languages like French and Japanese.
Each year the students go camping. For our camp this year, we are going to
travel by bus from school to Roonka, which is on the River Murray. Then we are
going to have lunch in a large dining room. We are also going to walk along the
river, play football and other games. Its going to be really cool!
