    (1) Determine the amount of longitudinal reinforcement for a R.C. column (square) having effective length of 5275m and subjected to a factored load of 1050kN. Assume M 20 concrete and Fe 415 steel. (2) Determine the factored load carrying capacity of the column section shown below. Take effective length to be 5950mm. Assume M 25 concrete and Fe 415 steel.
