Student Government Association Application

Student Government Association is currently looking to fill an open seat. The person to fill this seat will serve the remainder of the term until the General Election, which is at the end of February, as an at-large representative. This candidate will assume full senatorial duties upon being sworn in and is expected to attend all regularly scheduled meetings. Student Government Association convenes every Tuesday at 6:30pm in MUC 216/216A. To apply, you will need the following documents: Application Form Current Resume Course Schedule for Fall 2013

Submit all three documents to Michelle Corio, chairperson of the Student and Internal Affairs Committee, at Michelle.L.Corio@coyotes.usd.edu by Monday, October 21st, by 5:00pm. Neither incomplete nor late submissions will be considered. Interviews will take place Thursday, October 24th, from 7:00-8:30pm. Time slots will be in fifteen-minute increments. Only the top six applicants will receive interviews. Good luck!

Answer the following questions using no more than 200 words per question. If you exceed the word count, that question will not be scored.

2. List three things that SGA is currently doing.

3. List the activities you are involved with on campus or in the community. Are you able to commit four hours a week to SGA?

4. Please provide the names of two peer references and two faculty references.

5. If you were to draft a resolution, what would you propose, and how would you suggest your proposal be achieved?
