88 0f 1986: "It must be note that not all misconduct deserves dismissal which has been described as the capital punishment in industrial relation. Important circumstances which mitigate the offence of the workmen should be taken into account by the employer before he can be said to have made a fair and reasonable decision to dismiss. For example, a workmans pass record of good service or managements own actions or omissions which contributed to the misconduct are mitigating factors which any reasonable company would take account of before dismissing.
