Multiplying and dividing integers activity

Well it noticed that even if you flip the numbers around in the problem you get the same answer. This demonstrates the commutative property. Also there are 3 groups of negative two and to get the sum you would need to multiply those numbers. For the division problems you are dividing the sum by the one of the numbers to get the other number.

As before I saw the commutative property and I see the same thing here. Also there are 4 groups of negative 2 and to get the sum you would need to multiply those numbers. For the division problems you are dividing the sum by the one of the numbers to get the other number.

For multiplying and dividing integers it is very similar to multiplying regally but with a few tweaks. If you have one negative number in your problem then your answer is going to be negative and if it has two negative numbers the answer is going to be positive like addition.
