    Miss Lewiss Class News Week of October 21st

    What Were Learning Dates to Remember October 21st 25th Early Release for Conference Week and Book Fair October 24th Monster Mash 6:00-7:00
    Reading: Daily 5 is in full swing!! We will focus on central message and retelling stories. Spelling Words: just, little, two, going, here, said, over, our, what, with Writing: We will continue working on informative writing. Everyone has chosen a topic and begun to research. After researching, we will be making our own non-fiction books. Math: We are continuing with measurement. We have started measuring with the metric system and will continue using customary units. Social Studies: We will continue our unit on the founding of Georgia. We are learning about Tomochichi, Mary Musgrove, and James Oglethorpe.
