    NOTIFICATION

    This is to inform to all the schools affiliated to the CBSE that the long reading text / novel Lord of Flies by William Golding prescribed for class XII English Core subject in the CBSE Curriculum 2014 and 2015 has been dropped for this session i.e. 2013-14 onwards. Instead there will be two questions from the other long reading text/ novel The Hound of Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - on plot, theme or incidents and characterization in the final examination of March 2014. Hence, there will be no choice of novels in class XII English Core.
