1) Make a monetary corporate donation to the Back to

School supply drive

2) Create a customized online supply drive for your

employees and customers via Kits for Kidz

3) Make an in-kind donation of supplies or other items

(e.g. promotional materials – t-shirts, sports bottles,
pens)

4) Circulate information about the School Supply Drive

to all your employees and/or customers
Send an email to your employees with a link to the online
drive: www.helpcps.org

Include a story and link in your company newsletter or

e-newsletter: www.helpcps.org/newslettercopy

5) Collect school supplies at your office to be picked up

by CPS and distributed to students
For a list of needed school supplies: www.helpcps.org

6) Be flexible with employees so that they can take their

children to school on the first day
August 10, for the schools on the year-round schedule
September 8, for schools on the traditional schedule

7) Create a partnership with a CPS school
