What is SOAP?

Paraphrase Scripture passage for the day. Write down 1 or 2 Observations from the passage. Write down 1 or 2 Applications from the passage. Pray over what you learned from todays passage.

2. Jesus loved and spent a good amount of time with Lazarus, Martha, and Mary. What other stories in the Bible come to mind when you think of them? (write verses if possible)

3. When Jesus heard about Lazaruss sickness He did not immediately leave to heal him. Jesus stated that ...the sickness will not lead to death. It is for the glory of God...(vs4). Do you grumble and complain in the face of trails? Or do you see trials as opportunities for growth and to honor God?

4. What does Jesus tell Martha in verse 25 & 26? Does Martha believe?

5. God is a compassionate, kind, and loving God. Jesus wept with those who were weeping. We do not have a God who cannot empathize with us! He wants us to trust Him & pour out our hearts to Him (Psalm 62:8). What do you need to pour out & trust Him with?

6. Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, and then from that day on what were the plans of the Priests and the Pharisees? (John 11:53, 57) Why? Checkmark for every day you have prayed and memorized the verse of the week Friday Sat/Sun Monday Tuesday Wednesday
