Engineering of the Transfer Station sub-structure is done based on the load details of superstructure (PEB) obtained by the following PEB vendors. Al Alia Trading & Contracting Company Emirates Building Systems Co. LLC Kirby Building Systems

CONTRACTOR shall coordinate with the PEB vendor during the construction of RCC pedestals supporting steel columns. CONTRACTOR shall obtain the required anchor bolts and base plates to place before the concreting of pedestals. Should CONTRACTOR wish to propose an alternative vendor, full qualification documents for the proposed vendor shall be submitted along with written justification for deviation from the above list for QP review. CONTRACTOR shall not proceed, in any respect, regarding the proposed services above until QP has approved the deviation in writing. Administration Building The administration building shall be two (02) storey RCC building with the provision to add one additional floor in future as shown in the drawings attached in Appendix F.

Roads and Parking CONTRACTOR scope of work shall include the construction of internal roads and Parking areas for the Transfer Station as per the drawings and Specification for Road Works and Paving attached in Appendix A. CONTRACTOR shall construct approach and exit road to Transfer station from Tilal Street. Uncovered parking shall be provided for skip trucks and recyclable skip storage area. Shaded car parking shall be provided as per the drawing no. 3206RLB29-9-AH-2002. CONTRACTOR scope of work shall include all road signage including stop signs, directional and map signs, yield signs, speed limit signs, road markings including centre lines and no parking lines.
