I am Camrus and I am 40 and I had a bad time of my life when I was 19- this is what happened. ..

Every nine years, 15 names were called to go to Crete (I live in Athens). Whilst I was on a walk, I heard the king (he is the one who calls the names) call Camrus and I thought what would happen if I refused, but before I could think of what I was doing, I was walking back. And thats when the adventure began. On the boat I felt sea sick because it was a 380 mile sail from Athens to Crete. At least I had a good friend,called Theseus, with me,. He was one of the best fighters in Athens (there were a

lot of fighting when I was born) and there were a lot of good fighters and Theseus was the best I thought, Hence, when we got there, Theseus gave me the sharpest knife and we killed some bulls whilst the other 13 people sat out (lazy!). When the bulls were dead, we got thrown in the labyrinth, a maze, where the Minotaur lived. (The Minotaur is a creature that is half bull half man and eats people.) The labyrinth was two miles long and hard to get out of. Unexpectedly, the Minotaur came and we ran away, terrified. We passed heads and next to them there were headless bodies. We stopped at a dead end, then we turned around and surprisingly there was nobody there. Screams came from all directions and then the

Minotaur came stumbling and spotted us and consequently I got the pocket knife and Theseus got a sword. Humph! I said and Theseus stabbed the Minotaur and it hurt him, and I stabbed him and it did no damage at all. The Minotaur cut Theseus and Theseus fell and was knocked out. I picked up the sword and killed the Minotaur, then I noticed blood, not green blood (which the Minotaur had), but red blood, so I picked up Theseus (who was heavy) and walked back. We returned to the ship. Theseus eventually recovered and we talked about our adventure, Time passed and I barely noticed .We had a big party when we got back to celebrate that the Minotaur was dead.
