News flash
The vase is now completely destroyed due to a rematch just taken place!

EVERYTHING IS CRACKERS
This month Mrs. Trail Blazer appeared. I finally got to meet the lady I had been calling, always at a bad time! I nearly fell off my chair when I opened an email asking to book a demo! What made me smile at this demo with Mrs. Trail Blazer and her friends, a comment to one of her dearest that she introduces her to all the best things and she ought to be thanked for it! Indeed she should! Great to finally meet you! My last demo for June was with Mrs. My Place. We held this demo at my place due to the restrictions in her apartment. I loved having it at home, however upon delivering Mrs. My place I discovered she has a gorgeous outdoor area, all under cover overlooking the gorgeous Broadwater! We will be having her steaming demo at her place next month! Oops Varoma demo! Mrs. Camper Trailer has been enjoying her Thermomix for its use in making baby and toddler food, as well as a tomato chutney that was her first go at using Thermomix! You go good thing! I have myself decided to be selfless, and share a recipe that says it all to Man of the House. It is the meal that can fix a bad mood, say I am sorry after a fight, or guarantee me wifey of the year award! It is a Lemon, Caper and Salmon Pasta. WARNING: do not serve this recipe to any annoying partners/husband of your friends, they will never leave you alone!

e broke your vase Man of The House Whispered as I walked in from a demo. The tone of his voice telling me I was to remain calm and unknowing. That I did as I walked in like a little ray of sunshine! To his credit master A4 raced downstairs to tell me the vase near the door was broken, a complete mystery was the tone in his voice! Just like Sherlock I investigated, asked all the right questions and had the picture of what shenanigans had gone on in my absence! It would seem an inflated AFL ball was being kicked highhhh into the void of our entrance foyer. If master A4 had the right skill he could get it past the pendulant light fixture dangling from the second story roof level, deserving the right to do a Brownie salute to the crowd! Clearly Man of The House was able to connect with a little boy playing in this manner! So if you visit my home flip your head to the left and admire my one of a kind vase that is split in two! I was fortunate this month to visit Ms M for a demo. You know what I love about Ms M? She is so expressive in her sms messaging. She is the emoticon queen, which is awesome because I know exactly how much Ms M and husband love Their Thermomix! Going to Ms Ms demo I met Mrs. Sure To Be Sure (yes she has an accent!). Her husband called to order one for her Mothers Day present! We booked in to have her Varoma demo one week after she received her machine as she was going overseas. In that week Mrs. Sure To Be Sure had steamed a whole chicken, made liver pate and discovered her children loved the rice! She was marveling at how much quicker and simpler cooking this way made life!including minimizing the mess in the kitchen. Must admit I love that too!

QUNICES IN SEASON
This month I stumbled on marvelous looking Quinces in the fruit shop. I picked one up wondered what will I make with you? I bought 4 and continued shopping. As I moved through the market I was in a cheese room. In here I purchased my fromage, a sliver of Black Truffle Brie for Man of the house and I to enjoy on the weekend. I also picked up a little tub of quince paste to see what was in itquinces, water and sugar. Huh. Another Brand of quince paste added Lemon Juice to its ingredients. Double huh. I slapped myself on the head for not realizing sooner that I could have been making this all along, went home and goggled a recipe. The link is to the right for anyone wanting to make a batch. It made a slice tray worth of paste and it lasts for months in an airtight container. I just saved myself a tidy sum right there! I mentioned how thrilled I was with my quince paste to another consultant and she said Oh yes, also you should try the plum and shiraz paste you can make for a cheese board as well, divine!. Well I figured if you are making quince paste, try making your own crackers to go on the board! A horrid thing happened with the cheese and quince paste. Over the weekend Man of the House and I never found the time to enjoy our nibbleand that isnt the horrid part yet! So on the Monday I figured I must sample, so out with 5 crackers a little Black Truffle Brie and quince paste on each cracker. My eyes popped wide then slowly melted closed. I did the same thing every lunch time for the next 4 days following!! Lucky I am running it off in training hey! I will call that my week in France!

Update on Pippa
Last Year we adopted a Bichon Frise called Pippa. He has settled right in with us. He is obsessed with all things food! I prepare all his meals in the Thermomix. Cooked meals to raw meals. How could I not love him when he is so grateful for my dinners! I have discovered Pipps second greatest love next to food. Travelling in Master A4s car seat (he can see out the window and snug in around corners!) Pull the window down and his little nose goes a hundred mile an hour taking in all the smells of the wild! Pipps enjoys a weekly wash and blow wave and I am even teaching myself to trim and clipper him. Man of the house dully pointed out the chunk I took out of his derriere! I threatened to give him a Pipps cut next time I clipped his hair! Oddly enough he thought that was funny!

If you have been to a demonstration you will have seen the Thermomat in use on the bread course. This mat is $60 to purchase so it is a great promotion to enjoy it for free if you purchase this month! It is also handy to know you can bake on it up to 280 degrees. I love mine for rolling out pastry then rolling the mat, pastry and all, to chill in the fridge. It makes filling the bake ware so much easier with less ripping!

I have very limited spaces for June demonstrations with only a few night time spaces left. If the thought has crossed your mind that it would be good to have a second bowl then lets get you one!
