    Global HR Forum that was first founded in 2006 by the Korea Economic Daily, Korean Ministry of Education and Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training will be held at Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Seoul from November 5 to 7. The forum was launched in order to encourage global cooperation for co-prosperity of the entire human race. Human resources policies and strategies discussed at our forum will become very useful solutions for the global challenges such as economic inequality, underdevelopment, climate change, and energy risk. Due to the changes in dynamics of human capital management generated by the accelerated globalization, developing more competitive and creative human talents has become one of the most significant challenges for all countries. Officials of international organizations and governments, global corporate CEOs, world-class university presidents and scholars will join this year’s forum to share their thoughts and ideas on human resources development. This year’s main theme is ‘Beyond Walls’, and the sessions will cover the following issues: 1. Gender Wall 2. Racial & Cultural Wall 3. Generational Wall 4. Regional Wall 5. Wall between Big and Small Enterprises 6. Wall between Academia and Industry 7. Wall between Elite and Mass Education 8. Wall between Liberal Arts & Natural Sciences 9. Wall between Academic Disciplines 10. Wall of Institutional Selfishness For every year, the Global HR Forum contributes to find ways for cultivating creative human talents and building strong international cooperation system.
