B a c hs famous Cantata 106, Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit (Gods time is the best time), a work of charm, intensity, and utter genius. Grounded in the Western classical tradition, David Avshalomov creates his works in an accessible, modern neoromantic style that balances a lyric gift with a characteristic rhythmic vitality and dramatic flair. The Latin text of O Euchari by Hildegard of Bingen is richly brought to life in Davids vivid harmonies.
