Strategy of communication refers to the most effective way of relaying information from the sender to the receiver using the most strategic form of communication medium such as verbal, nonverbal, interpersonal, via the media and others

Strategi komunikasi merujuk kepada kaedah yang paling efektif dalam menyampaikan maklumat daripada penghantar kepada penerima mesej dengan menggunakan medium komunikasi yang paling efektif seperti verbal, bukan verbal, interpersonal, melalui media dan sebagainya.

Strategi Komunikasi yang dilakukan melalui kempen sosial (kempen komunikasi). Objektif kempen sosial adalah untuk menyampaikan pesanan yang bermanfaat kepada masyarakat (Yusof Abdullah, 2006:12) Communication strategies carried out through social campaigns. The main objectives of social campaigns are to convey useful and beneficial messages to the general public (Yusof Abdullah, 2006:12)
Strategi Komunikasi dalam konteks kempen sosial dilakukan melalui salah satu daripada tiga peringkat berikut (Yusof Abdullah, 2006): Communication strategies in the context of social campaigns are carried out through one of the following three stages: - penggubalan (formulation/planning stage) - pelaksanaan (implementation stage) - penilaian (evaluation stage)
Strategi komunikasi melalui media massa: Communication strategies via mass media: - media cetak (print media) - media elektronik (electronic media) - media baharu (new media)
intonasi suara (voice intonation) pergerakan badan (body gestures) pandangan mata (eye contact) expresi wajah (facial expressions) pemakaian (clothings) sentuhan (touch) bahasa isyarat (sign language)
Konsep Komunikasi
It can therefore be said that human communication means the process of sharing meaning, ideas, thoughts, experiences, information or opinion from person to person (Ezeja Ogili 2005)
Proses komunikasi manusia boleh ditakrifkan sebagai proses berkongsi makna, idea, fikiran, pengalaman, maklumat atau pandangan dari seseorang kepada orang lain (Ezeja Ogili 2005)
Proses Komunikasi dilakukan melalui: Communication processes are carried out by means of:
perbualan (conversations) sentuhan (touch) pandangan/pemerhatian (observation) pendengaran (hearing) hidu (smelling) penulisan (writing) pembacaan (reading) perbuatan (actions)
Komunikasi Efektif seharusnya mengambil kira keupayaan manusia untuk mengingati sesuatu Effective Communication should take into account humans ability to remember: (Adeyemi 1984): 10% remember what they read (10% mengingati apa yang mereka baca) 20% remember what they hear (20% mengingati apa yang mereka dengar) 30% remember what they see (30% mengingati apa yang mereka lihat) 50% remember what hear and see (50% mengingati apa yang mereka lihat) 70% remember what they say (70% mengingati apa yang mereka kata) 90% remember what they say while doing something (90% mengingati apa yang mereka kata sambil melakukan sesuatu)
