Lesson 8: Irregular verbs Some verbs are special. They DO NOT end with ed to show past tense.. They have another spelling used with has, have, or had.

These verbs are called IRREGULAR VERBS.

Example of each tense:


Present: Many people run in San Franciscos big race.
Past: Caleb ran in the race last month.

With Has: Jennifer has run in the race several times.

Present go see do run come

Past went saw did ran came

With has, have, had has, have, or had gone has ,have, or had seen has, have, or had done has, have, or had run has, have, or had come
