2) The venturimeter in figure below has air flowing through it. The manometer, as shown, contains both mercury and water. The cross sectional areas at the upstream location and at the throat are 10 and 1 ft2, respectively. What is the volumetric flow rate of the air and the reynould number? The discharge coefficient Cv equal 1.0.

3) The venturimeter has water flowing through it. The diameter at point 1 is 1 ft and that at point 2 is 0.5 ft. If the volumetric flow rate at point 2 is 2.49 ft2/s, what is the pressure difference and the high of fluid in manometer if the fluid is water?
