Maintenance & Cleaning: 1. Pre Filters: The filer media of the pre filters installed in the dryer are made from special type of compressed felt stitched on to a woven wire gauge support, crimped form deep fins. These filters can be taken out fro cleaning from the pre Filter door provided at the rear of the machine. Cleaning can be done by blowing on the cleaning side of the filters with a compressed air jet at about 100 psi ( 7 kg/sq.sm.). If the compressed air is not available than they can be cleaned by applying nozzle of a vacuum cleaner to the dirty side of the filter. 2. Outlet Air Filter The filter hanger can be lowered from the housing and the filter bags stripped from it. These have to be rinsed and washed with soap and water, at least every fortnight. 3. Bottom of the Product Container: The bottom of the product container clean from time to time to ensure a trouble free fluidization. Blockages can occur during lengthy waiting times, which cause hindrance during operation. 4. Gaskets: The following gaskets checked regularly for possible damage and if necessary replaced: 1. Between filter housing and retarding chamber. 2. Between retarding chamber and product container. 3. Between product container and lifting device. Reference: Instrument Manual
