Mahsa Beheshti-Assignment 2
1. Proper project name and location After you open Cubase you will see this window, which asks you about starting a new project. Im starting an entire new project so I choose Empty
The next window you will see is this, which asks you about project name, click on New project
Then you should set a location to save your project files, do not save it on a place that doesnt have enough space, and another important thing is that you should always organize your folders, use track name (or if you have not choose it yet type something to find it later) if you dont after a while that you have too many projects it will be confusing to find them
2. Digital audio preferences Now you should set your audio preferences. From menu open project menu, then click on project setup or use short keys (Shift+S)
This window will come up, here you can set parameters like Sample rate, Record format, Record file type. Click on Sample Rate and set it to 48.000 Hz
3. Recording file type You should choose your format here, whether its Wave File, BWF, AIFF or Wave 64 File
4. Hardware setting You should make sure that youre interface and DAW work well together, if not it will make problems for you and wont perform well.
5. Buffer size
