Draft 3 Bradley Sheen

Untitled Tell me to take risks Spill my uncouth imaginations, my devious exploits. To goad myself And bleed. But I have hemophobia So I force myself to drip these words. Cacophony on paper. combinations of letters that look good as words all so nonsensical. Words I dont acknowledge but are subtly profound

Addendum: I wrote this poem after regretting not creating a draft in class. Although the poem may come off as quite clich, writing about how I cant think of anything to write and my inability at writing, this is my attempt at bleeding on paper. I knew I would either come off as naive and foolish, or as a (hopefully) profound poet. I use the awkward placement and choice of words such as cacophony and acknowledge in order to accentuate my inability at writing poetry. I also use caesura and strange line breaks to also demonstrate this point.

The Block Tell me to take risks To prick myself with this Figurative instrument and bleed. I bleed, but the blood too is figurative It doesnt exist. I dont want to share I cant share. I merely force myself as I pour these words on paper. Nonsencial words, Words no one cares about. Pathetic words that I shouldnt even acknowledge.
