I shall analyse the indie Drama Rom-com Juno (Jason Reitman, 2007). This film is very similar to my own product in terms of the simplicity. The thing that stands out is simple colour scheme for the background. Too many posters waste time with explosions and graphics and so on, taking the attention away from the actual film. Orange and white may be colours in a babies rooms and together, quite a memorable colour. Furthermore, the stripe are all over the poster; on Paiges shirts, Ceras socks and shirt too. This will ensure that the customers remember the film easily. The text underneath the film title is very memorable; A comedy about growing up and the bumps along the way. The connection to the main image which shows Cera in a sport outfit looking slightly confused, and Paige looking very serious, a side profile shot emphasising the pregnancy element of the film and Cera in his outfit look somewhat childlike in a slight off direct shot. The readers will definitely sense the comical elements as well as the social ones such as growing up and teenage pregnancy.
