The Tri-M Boys Swim Team defeated AOK 69-66 in a close meet at Richmond Hill High School. Tri-M's consistency in placing first, second, or third in their races led them to victory over AOK, who also swam well. One Tri-M swimmer, Joel Campo, made an impressive comeback after mistakenly thinking his race was over, catching up and passing the other swimmers. The win adds to Tri-M's successful season as they prepare for their next meet against LIAM on November 8th.

Congratulations! Tri-M Boys Swim Team win over AOK at Richmond Hill High School. Final Score: Tri-M AOK 69 66 By Adriana C. Muniz As with any sport, training and preparing are key elements to performing well. The Tri-M Boys Swim Team once again proved their commitment as their training practices paid off with Friday nights win over AOK. The nights races results were like a neck in neck NASCAR event. Just when you thought one team was going to win, the other would speed right by and vice versa. But it was Tri-Ms consistency that paid off. The AOK team did an excellent job in the races but it was definitely Tri-Ms continuous 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes in their respective races that put them ahead in the final score. Tri-Ms strength was also relevant when one swimmer, Joel Campo, mistakenly thought his race was over. Instead of giving up, Campo redeemed himself with an impressive swim by not only catching up but passing the other swimmers. A true testament of Tri-Ms swimming strength and ability. The meet came to an exciting end with Tri-M winning over AOK 69 to 66 adding yet another win to their season. The boys continue to train this week in preparation for their next meet on Friday against LIAM (11/8/13).
