November 5, 2013 From the Faulconer for Mayor campaign Kevin Faucloner explained in this op-ed for U-T

San Diego why the mayoral candidates are able to discuss prioritizing street repairs and other neighborhood improvements. When Nathan Fletcher talks about San Diego, he leaves out this important context. "Mr. Fletcher also is unwilling to talk about two real issues -- his lack of transparency and not showing up for work. You can't lead if you're not transparent and you don't show up for work. "It's been 9 days now since Kevin Faulconer called on Mr. Fletcher to comply with multiple requests from reporters and release his calendar. Mr. Fletcher has refused to do so, but reporters are still waiting, hoping Mr. Fletcher opens up with San Diegans. "Although Mr. Fletcher has refused to share his calendar, we know he missed more than 550 votes last year as a California Assemblyman because he rarely showed up for work. The votes Mr. Fletcher missed dealt with a wide range of important issues, including education, public safety and financial reform." ### Contact: Tony Manolatos amanolatos@gmail.com| KevinFaulconer.com
