Teachers should act on the heliefthat all children can and are eager to learn as long as they provide correct interventions and !:,'1lidance. Our primary responsibility as -a teacher is to make sure this declaration is genuine. We must be dedicated to making knowledge accessible to all students. for teaching.

Before any of this can occur, we must first have the "passion"

there will be for what is in the best interest of the children. Understanding that teaching is a continuous process of discovery and growth, the teacher should create a classroom that is stimulating and supportive for the students. The classroom should be a community in which students are free to take risks and are given the chance to work independently, as well as collaboratively, with others. This type of environment promotes active learning and exposes the students to a variety of intellectual challenges. Having an atmosphere such as makes students feel welcomed, valued and respected. The instructional setting should capture and sustain the interest of the students, while encouraging them to reach their fullest potential. In order for them to reach this potential a teacher must understand how their students develop and learn. Realizing that all students do not learn in the same manner a teacher must strive to provide multiple ways tor students to stretch their thinking. In order for the students to stretch their thinking teachers have to accept each student's individuality and differences, and then work to meet the needs of each student. We should seek to enrich and deepen the array of resources and materials that are available, in order to meet the instructional needs of our students. This means we should look beyond the textbook to determine how using variety of materials will enhance our lessons. We should try to
