COLE CORADI It has been 17 years since the meteor hit earth. Life has never been the same. The meteor measured in 13 miles wide and was moving at 29,000 mph. The shock nearly took out humanity... but it didnt. It made a crack in the earth that split the earth in two. The two pieces slowly drifted apart from each other until they stopped. We stopped across the sun, so the sun was perfectly between the two pieces. No communications, no telescopes, virtually invisible to one another. The new planets were split so the eastern and western hemispheres were new planets. They have been named Pangea Western and Chaos Eastern. We have slowly been drifting ever so slowly, and today will be the first day we have communications for 17 years. Everyone has been eagerly awaiting this day. I have been as eager as ever for this announcement. Then the commercials. I called my friend Walter to hear the rest of the the news. When I waited for Walter, I listened to the ads. Spinich-Os Spinich-Os! Nothing taste better than Spinnich-Os. Everything does I said under my breath. Just then Walters new kite flier 9,000 soared in and he got out and started to listen. Dadadadadadadadada We now come back to your program. There was a count down till the first communications: 98, 97, 96, 95. We were sitting on the edge of our seats to hear the first words. 43, 42, 41, 40. What would they say? What would they say? That is all that was going on in my head. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0, I heard a staticky sound that said Greetingsh shshshsh frshom Chaos SHSHSHSHSHSHSH. Chaos, I thought, what a weird name. Pangea responded with Greetings from Pangea. They talked for hours, but in the end we figured that they have turned so very different. Chaos has become a war based planet but Pangea has become a peace and nature world. We also saw that things might get rough. We got bored, so we flew Walters new kite flier 9,000 to the mountains and ate lunch. We ate lunch and camped out for the night. The views were incredible and you could see every star, but we saw a strange star that slowly got bigger. We ignored it and went to bed. When we woke up we heard At first we get along but then comes issues. They dont agree on so many things, Pangea doesn't like war; Chaos says they need more military. Things escalate more and more. We were shocked. All the sudden we hear a noise. It sounds like its loud but far away. But it gets louder and we realize it is coming from up above us. We look up and there is a ship that says CHAOS #1! It is a war ship! Pangea might be all nature and earth, but we are not dumb. We knew this might happen, so the 7th year away we worked on project Black Falcon. It is a 1,000,000 megaton thermo-nuclear bomb in a space ship designed to go to Chaos if needed... but that was a last resort. We kept looking at the warship, and

it started to fire at Richmond. The other direction, we see a little glimmering light in the sky and its an A.A. missile! Were saved! It hits the ship and goes into a tailspin and crashes with a BANG! But I see multiple tanks get out of the wreckage and start to fire among civilians. I was in the military, so I race home and get my old R.P.G. I fire at the tanks but I only blow up 2 of the three tanks and the other tanks see me. I run away, knowing that I would die. Then the Navy Seals came and blew up the tank with a bundle of C4. And then I see something big and black come out of the ground. It says BLACK FALCON. We know that we won the short but big war. The next night I can see the planet Chaos with my telescope and I see Black Falcon hit the planet. It hits the dead half the side underground when the meteor hits, and it blows Chaos into millions of pieces. Its over. The next day Pangea has a huge celebration. But I will always wonder if anybody survived on Chaos THE END
