Movement, body language & facial expression consistently fits the character, fits the situation, has a clear purpose, communicates clearly and was a choice that resulted of a deep comprehension of the character, its relationships & the plot. Arms, hands and facial movements work together to involve the entire body. Appears very comfortable performing in front of the camera. Tone, intensity, volume, rhythm & pitch are the result of a conscious choice to better represent the characters personality traits. Speech is very clear with all words distinctly pronounced. Speech is easy to understand even when speaking quickly. Uses many changes in vocal qualities and vocal energy to enhance the meaning of the lines. Uses varied emphasis & pacing, full and natural projection and articulation. There is clear evidence of concentration. The actor is aware of what is expected from him and is available and ready to shoot at all moments. In no circumstances the actor breaks character, or the actor looks directly at the camera, unless directly requested by the script. The actor has studied his character & his script and has understood and internalized the characters subtext. The actor clearly sustains his characters traits throughout the shooting. The actor comes ready to shoot, wearing his characters costumes and props, which must be accurately chosen to portray the characters personality.
