Over the 100 years of South Sydney Rabbitohs, they have had over 350 players. Some of these players include the great Clive Churchill, John Sattler, Bob McCarthy and George Piggins

History
The Rabbitohs entered the competition in 1908, winning most games and went on to win the first premiership of Australian Rugby League. This was the first of 20 premierships. The Rabbits Last Premiership was in 1971. Since then they have been banned and reinstated, won 1 minor premiership, and received the wooden spoon 5 times.

Premierships
The Rabbitohs Have won 20 premierships in the 100 years they have been in the competition. They were in these years: 1908, 1909, 1914, 1918, 1925, 1926, 1927, 1928, 1929, 1931, 1932, 1950, 1951, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1967, 1968, 1970, 1971.

Great Players
South Sydney have had a number of great players, most recognised by the NRL world. These Players include; The Great Clive Churchill, John Sattler, Bob McCarthy and Their savoir George Piggins. All of these players have represented in national and international levels of the NRL

John Sattler
From the 1970 period comes part of South's and Australian Rugby League folklore when in the 1970 premiership decider against Manly, captain John Sattler inspired the side to victory playing out 70 minutes of the match with his jaw broken in three places after being king hit by Manly prop John Bucknall. This amount of courage shows South's true spirit
