    50/50 POSTER ANALYSIS

    The title

    The title appears in sans-serif bold grey font in the lower third of the poster. Its boldness is emphasises through due to the stark white background. The white background emphasises the clinical nature of the film and leaves a clean finish.

    The main image. The main image is a scene from within the film in which the protagonist finally accepts his cancer and shaves his hair off. The colours are brown and warm which adds to the close knit feeling present within the film However the expressions of both characters highlight the dark nature of the matter in a comedic form.

    Actors accredited are shown in small font diminishing their importance within the film and focusing on the main themes of cancer and friendship.

    The tagline emphasises the theme of friendship through the descriptive pair to beat the odds
